Special Serving – Friday UN Plaza – 1:30pm
In conjunction with Iraqi Veterans Against the War, Food Not Bombs will be serving in UN Plaza, Friday November 28th at 1:30pm to highlight the needs of thousands of homeless veterans. Please contact Dana (dana at the coocoup dot com) or call 415.683.0511 to help with cooking or serving!
Thursday
There will be no SF Food Not Bombs serving on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27th as there is an abundance of free food served throughout the city on that day. Food Not Bombs will be serving both the day before, Wednesday, as usual, and the day after as part of a special serving (details forthcoming). If you’re interested in serving on this day, you should check out East Bay FNB’s annual dinner at Ashkenaz.
Saturday – Host Kitchen / Transportation Needed
Badri of Saturday is planning to move before the year’s end . There are a number of volunteers who are interested in continuing the Saturday serving, but we are in need of a host or kitchen and a means to transport our food! If you have resources or know of a space that might available please contact Badri on the Servings page.
Wednesday
Wednesday will return as normal November 26th (assuming no rain). I (dana) aplogize for any inconveinence over the last two weeks, my apartment building was being remodeled and kitchen was not easily accessible, I was recovering from an awful respiratory infection!
